Terms, Conditions & Policies


  You may book online at www.m22inn.com/sylvan-inn/ and click on the rectangle “Check Availability” tab on the top right of any web page or by calling the Inn directly at 231-631-6781. To confirm your reservation, a deposit equal to one night or 50% of the total room charge is required and is payable with credit card (VISA, MC, Discover). The remainder of your reservation will be billed no more than 10 days prior to your arrival.




  1. Refunds
    • Single Room Reservations
      • You will receive a refund of all amounts paid, less $35 for the first three nights of your reservation plus an additional $25 for every additional night if you cancel your reservation more than:
      • Ten (10) days in advance if your stay is three (3) or fewer nights: or Twenty-one (21) days in advance if your stay is more than three (3) nights.
    • Multi-Room Reservations
      • You will receive a refund of all amounts paid, less $35 per room for the first three nights of your  reservation plus an additional $25 per room for every additional night if you cancel your  reservation more than:
      • Thirty (30) days in advance if you reservation is for two (2) or three (3) rooms; or Ninety (90) days in advance if your reservation is for four (4) or more rooms.
  2. The distinction between single and multi-room reservations is at the Resort’s discretion. If you fail to cancel your reservation within the refundable periods set forth above, you will be responsible for the entire price of your reservation.
  3. Refunds are not given for early departures.
  4. You must call and speak with someone in order to cancel or alter your reservation. We cannot accept cancellations or alterations via text, email, or voice message.
  5. If you have made your reservation through a third party online travel agency, e.g.. Booking.com or expedia.com, you must cancel/alter your reservation directly with the third party online travel agency through which the reservation was created

Shortened stays:

  Due to the short vacation season in Glen Arbor, guests will be billed for the full amount of the original nights booked. Refunds are not provided for early departures.

Our Guests are Important

If a guest is unhappy with their room we will offer you another room at the same price only in the event that another room is available. If there are no other rooms available and the guest would still like to leave a credit will be available for another date(s) – blackout dates will apply – The guest will not be refunded for the room.

Rates are seasonal and slightly higher on weekends. Rates are subject to change without notice. Add 10% for taxes and fees.

Other Policies

  • We do not offer AAA or AARP discounts
  • Pets are not permitted
  • Weapons are not permitted
  • Smoking is not permitted on the property
  • We can accommodate for dietary restrictions. Please let us know at time of reservation being made and again at check-in
  • Please no trailers or boats
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Breakfast is served between 8:00-9:30 during peak season. Coffee is served at 7:30 during peak season. Arrangements for breakfast will be made at check in for off peak season.
